Classification Of Wounds

DEFINITION OF A WOUND
A wound is an abnormal break in the skin or other tissues of the body , which permits the escape of blood , externally or internally and may allow the entrance of germs.

CLASSIFICATION OF WOUND
- Incised 割伤 
>> caused by sharp instrument

- Laceration 裂伤
>> caused by machinery , claws of an animal or barbed wire

- Contusion 挫伤
>> caused by a blow from a blunt instrument , fall against hard surface or crushing

- Abrasion 擦伤
>> caused by a sliding fall or a friction burn

- Puncture 刺伤 
>> caused by sharp pointed instrument 

- Gunshot 枪伤
>> have a small entry wound but a large exit wound

CLASSIFICATION OF WOUNDS by SEVERITY ( 严重程度 )
1. Gunshot - most serious.
2. Incised 
3. Laceration
4. Contusion
5. Abrasion
6. Puncture 
    -Caution !!! - please don't remove the instrument on the wound , it will cause * Double Injury *
